How long will my IAS railing last?
IAS railings are backed by a 20-year structural warranty and are engineered to last 30-50+ years with minimal maintenance in normal residential environments. Aluminum doesn't rust, rot, or require painting.
Do aluminum railings require any maintenance?
Virtually none. An occasional rinse with mild soapy water is all that's needed to keep your IAS railing looking like new. Unlike wood, there's no staining, sealing, or painting required.
Are IAS railings available in different colors?
Yes - we offer 14 standard powder-coat colours including matte black, satin white, bronze, champagne, and more. Custom RAL colours are available through our Custom Railings programme.
Can I install IAS railings myself?
IAS railings are designed for professional installation by authorized dealers and contractors. While the systems are modular and relatively straightforward, railing installation must meet local building code requirements, which vary by municipality.
What is the warranty process if something goes wrong?
Contact your authorized IAS dealer with documentation of the issue. They'll initiate a warranty claim on your behalf. Claims are reviewed within 5 business days, and approved claims receive replacement components at no cost.

How do I become an authorized IAS installer?

What is the typical lead time for orders?
Standard catalogue items typically ship within 2–4 weeks. Custom colours require 3–6 weeks, depending on manufacturer lead times. Contact your account manager for project-specific lead time estimates.
Are IAS products code-compliant?
Yes. All IAS standard railing systems are engineered and tested to meet ASTM F2923 and CSA A23.3 standards. We provide code documentation and can supply PE stamps for custom projects on request.
Do you provide installation guides?
Yes - comprehensive installation guides are available for all product lines in our dealer portal and on request. We also offer installation training webinars and on-site training visits for high-volume accounts.
